Hello! My name is Lori and I am a relic-loving, antique-swooning, refinisher, upcycler and repurposer. I admit to adrenaline rushes while brushing the dust off from a treasure long forgotten during an estate sale binge. My favorite finds are furniture pieces that I can refinish and anything that can be repurposed into funky and functional home decor. I am married to my best friend, a mom to three great kids, and hopefully a dog owner someday soon...funny how the dog is a harder sell on my husband than the three kids! While this blog and repurposing are my hobbies, I am an interior designer and photographer with a studio in Central Michigan. I am inspired by vintage styles and love the history you feel while gazing at a faded black and white photograph. A perfect day would be cruising on a motorcycle through the winding back roads of Michigan and stopping at whatever sandy beach, mom-and-pop pub or antiques store that catches my eye.
